GOOD FRIDAY SERVICE

Friday, April 19 at 6:30pm

We invite you to join us for our Good Friday Service, as we remember the sacrifice which Christ paid for our sins. The service will reflect on some of the last words Jesus spoke on the day He died, and will include singing, communion, and other opportunities to respond. A Note to Families- We encourage our families to celebrate the remembrance of Good Friday together, and for this reason we do not provide childcare services during our Good Friday service. The service will be just under one hour in length. Although the content of the Good Friday story is violent in nature, we attempt to tell an accurate account of the story in a way that remains “family friendly”.

EASTER SUnday Experience

"The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified.

He is not here, for he has risen, as he said."

Matthew 28:5-6

If it didn't happen, then the Christian message is pointless; if it did happen, it changes everything in our lives! We hope you will join us on April 21st to celebrate the single most important event in history: the resurrection of Jesus Christ!

To give you an idea of what you can expect that day, check out our Easter Sunday schedule below.

What to expect?

Small Groups - 9:00am

Easter Sunday Worship - 10:30am

If you are new to SRBC, we want to answer any questions you may have before you get here. Here are a couple of things to consider:

  • Guest parking is located in the upper parking lot where the main entrance to our worship center is located. Feel free to park in any of the spots located as close to the front door as possible.
  • Dress-wise, we have a "come as you are" mindset and you will find a wide variety of attire among those in attendance. Some will be a little more dressed up while others will be dressed more casually (jeans and t-shirt, and shorts when weather allows). The most important thing is that we are here together to worship The Lord.
  • Service times are listed above and we would love for you to join us for both small groups and worship.
  • If you have any questions once you arrive, look for any of our CONNECT Team members with "Connect Team" shirts and they will be happy to assist you further.

What is available for your family?

Before Service Begins @ 10:30am:

  • Information Center- If you are new to SRBC, be sure to stop by our information center located in the upper foyer where you can find more info about SRBC and the different ministries we offer.
  • SRBC Coffee Shop- If you didn't get the chance to grab some breakfast before leaving the house, no worries. Come grab some refreshments in our Coffee Shop courtesy of SRBC.
  • "He is Risen!" Photo Booth- Be sure to get the whole family together for a family photo at our photo booth located in the back of worship center.  Volunteers will be glad to help take a photo with your device, or take one with ours and airdrop it to you!

Worship Service Opportunities @ 10:30am:

  • Preschool and Kidz Connected (K-4th grade)- Our age-specific ministries offer activities, worship, and a lesson that is geared to their age specific needs.  Kidz Connected will start out in the worship center with everyone and leave together during the service, while Preschool will be in their area for the duration of the service. Anyone of our Connect Team Members will be ready to help you find where to take your child.
  • Main Worship Service- Whether you desire to utilize our ministries for your younger ones or want to keep the entire family together, we will come together for a vibrant time of worship as we sing praises to the risen King and hear a message out of His Word!

If we can answer any questions you may have before you come and join us, please feel free to email us here or give us a call at 205-647-7064. We cannot wait to see you!
