THRiVE Students' goal is to allow students to thrive in worship, community, and service.
To thrive in worship we believe that in Romans 12, Paul lays it out the best: 1 "I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. 2 Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect."
We offer Wednesday night worship services to help students thrive in worship, but most importantly we help students understand worship is a lifestyle, not a time of praise.
To thrive in community we believe that students need accountability with their peers believing that they are able to grow together and strengthen each other in their walk with Christ. Proverbs 27:17 "Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another." Students participate in Sunday School and Small groups to help them thrive in community.
To thrive in service, we offer students opportunity to grow in Christ by serving the church body as well as their community. Matthew 7:18 says "A healthy tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a diseased tree bear good fruit." We view service as a fruit and someone who is walking with Christ will bear good fruit. Some of the service opportunities we offer are mission trips, running media, and simply helping someone in the community.
