Meet Our Middle School Minister: Jack Crumpton
Jack Crumpton is a 22-year-old Middle School Minister at Smoke Rise Baptist Church, a community of believers dedicated to following Jesus. With a passion for God, Jack has made it his life’s mission to create and develop disciples who, in turn, develop more disciples. In this role, Jack is positively impacting the lives of the youth he serves, inspiring them to grow in their faith and share that faith with others.
Growing Up in Hayden
Jack was born and raised in the small town of Hayden, Alabama, where he attended Hayden High School and graduated with distinction. Growing up in this tight-knit community instilled in Jack a love for people and a desire to serve. His hometown holds a special place in his heart, and he is proud to call it his home.
Family Man
Jack is a proud husband to his wife, Maria, and a loving father to his precious newborn, Honey Mae. He is dedicated to his family and enjoys spending time with them.
Jack and Maria are a true partnership; they work together to support and encourage each other in their endeavors. Jack is grateful for the love and support of his family, and he is proud to be a husband and father.
A Dedication to Smoke Rise Baptist Church
From a young age, Jack was a dedicated Smoke Rise Baptist Church member, attending services and participating in various youth programs. Jack’s love for his church community grew stronger as he grew older. And he knew that he wanted to dedicate his life to serving God.
So, with a heart for ministry, Jack began to serve in various capacities at the church. Doing this gave him valuable experience and preparation for the Middle School Minister role.
The Middle School Minister
Jack’s passion for discipleship is at the forefront of all he does. He believes that creating and developing disciples is the key to positively impacting the world. And he is dedicated to this mission.
As the Middle School Minister at Smoke Rise Baptist Church, Jack is mentoring 5th – 7th graders.
His role is a crucial one, and Jack takes this responsibility seriously. With a focus on biblical truth and practical application, Jack strives to create an environment where the youth of SRBC can grow in their faith and become strong, confident disciples of Jesus.
Jack teaches biblical truths and seeks practical application, inspiring and challenging the youth of SRBC to grow in their faith and share it with others. He is determined to help the students become the best versions of themselves and use their gifts and talents to serve others.
A Love for People
Jack’s love for people is evident in all that he does. Whether working with the youth of SRBC or simply spending time with friends and family, Jack has a heart for service and a desire to impact the lives of others.
He is also a natural leader; his genuine, caring nature draws people to him. And Jack is a faithful servant of God and seeks to live out his faith in every aspect of his life.
A Man of Many Talents
Aside from his work in ministry, Jack has a wide range of interests and hobbies. Jack’s favorite pastimes are tinkering with various items like cars, computers, and tools. Jack’s love for discovering how things work is a testament to his inquisitive and curious nature.
He is always seeking new knowledge and experiences. And this drive to learn and grow makes Jack dynamic and well-rounded.
