We were created to Serve
We believe that every true Christ-follower has been given a gift through the power of the Holy Spirit. And that the gift(s) entrusted are to be used for the Lord's glory in serving others. "For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” Mark 10:45.
Through the various Serve opportunities available at SRBC, individuals are able to grow deeper in their spiritual walk, develop relationships with others that have the same gifts/passions, and bless others as they share the love of Christ.
To learn more about becoming part of a Serve Team, join in on the next Growth Track session. Current Serve Team opportunities available that you will learn more about through Growth Track.

SEAT 2 STREET MINISTRY
Through our Seat 2 Street Ministry, we strive to creatively and uniquely share the love of Christ with our community. Whether that be through serving at our local schools, offering free community yard sales, responding to community emergencies, helping families celebrate Thanksgiving and Christmas..... our aim and goal is to share Jesus' love by being His hands and feet! We invite everyone to not miss out on the blessing of being a servant to all. "For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” Mark 10:45
UNDER THE BRIDGE MINISTRY
We pray that our heart be in alignment with Christ, and that whatever burdens Him - burdens us. For that reason, we cannot sit idly by and not help those living in the bondage of poverty and homelessness. Teams go out regularly to minister to the homeless in downtown Birmingham by providing a meal, clothing and sharing the Gospel. "For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me..." Matthew 25:35-36
