Jim serves as an elder as well as the executive pastor as SRBC. He has been married to his wife Vicki for over 40 years. They have two grown children, Hannah Smith (Josh) and Tommy Morrison (Nia). They also have two grandchildren France Claire and Cole. He attended Jefferson State Jr. College and received an Associates Degree in Business Management, as well as Bessemer Tech Jr. College, where he received an Associates Degree in Applied Science (HVACR). Jim has been attending SRBC since 2011.
